I am a Nana. This is one of the few times in my life that words fail me...many of my friends who have already experienced this joy have tried to tell me what it's like to welcome that first grandchild into the world. But surely they can't be as smitten as I am!
Baby Morgan Belle arrived two days early on November 20, 2009. She came in the form of 7 lb. 12 oz. of sheer joy! I get butterflies thinking about her, and I miss her the second I leave my daughter and son-in-law's home, even after being there all night and all day. I go to bed thinking about Morgan and wake up wondering how she did overnight. My favorite part so far has been bathing her. I wish someone could bottle the smell of a freshly bathed baby!

Congratulations to all! Grandparenting is a joy like none other. And it increases with each one to comes along. We just got word last week that grandbaby #5 is on the way - the more the merrier!!! =) Looking forward to getting glimpses into your newfound love, Nana!
